WANDERIN' SOUL / KB - 2 ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by GARY ATKINSON. Original US pressing on the CORILLIONS label (110), from circa mid '70s. Cult, private press country funk oddity from Springfield, Missouri. Murky B-boy breaks and beats with that primitive trap drum sound / fender bassline and infectious guitar vamps on the WANDERIN' SOUL side. Sounds like Johnny Cash lamenting over a seriously funky backbeat. Sad, thought-provoking lyrics about a lonely / homeless man's determination to stop satan stealing his soul. Great for DJs. Cool, rockabilly vibe on here too. Comped by Chris McBride on 45 Kings 3 for the Fat City label. Obscure, outsider / leftfield Americana item. Rare 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG

Vinyl is close to shiny M- condition with a few hairlines from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises. Taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. Record housed in white card sleeve. Rare 45!!!

Please feel free to contact us with any condition queries you may have preferably before bidding. We will get back to you asap.
