Note:  I only grade the vinyl not the sleeve, each vinyl is graded visually.
Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played,possibly even still sealed.
Near Mint (NM): A nearly perfect record, might have extremely minor scuffs from removal of vinyl from sleeve and should not affect play.
Excellent (EX): The record is just a step down NM and in better condition than VG+. Record might have some marks but will not affect play. Very Good Plus (VG+): The record will show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs & some random surface noise but well taken care of. It will play all the way through without any major noise.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise/static will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages & during a song's intro, & may have louder random pops but will not overpower the music otherwise.
Good (G): The record will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear but it plays just fine without skipping.
 Fair: (F): The record will have significant surface noise and major pops, this record has been through a lot but it still plays all the way through without skipping.
