Description

You are bidding on: Galadriel - s/t, on Australian-pressed Polydor # 2907 001.

Fully laminated sleeve has some chips to spine (see photo close up) and a few chips to lower seam and some corner wear but no ringwear to be seen though and so the wondrous images used on back and front have stayed bright and sharp and shiney. Grade as VG+ only.

Disc has a lot of heavy surface scuffs but only 1 or 2 small scratches I can feel and looks ugly esp. under bright light (not as bad as my copy of Simple Image on ebay now). It has some noticable crackling but no jumps or skips etc... when, unafraid,  I played it right through with my GBP1,000.00 SME IV tonearm. Will grade as G only. 

Clean labels.

Speaking of which, looking at the spindle hole, it appears that the disc is unplayed. I know that sounds crazy but the hole is pretty razor sharp on both sides and that is my conclusion from my experience. One of the great mysteries!!

Anyway, if you want an original playable Aussie copy of this monster and not a german copy, you may wish to consider this one, even though the disc looks bad.....but my min. is not US$1,500.00 either and knowing that that is what any UK/European dealer would charge for a M- copy, I paid AU$500.00 to a shopkeeper after inspecting and playing it, and it would be nice to get my money back now.
