Excellent condition copy of this ultra-rare Michigan garage classic. Run-A-Rounds - "I Couldn't Care Less" b/w "I Can't Take You Back" on MANEL 100. This release was noted on the ORIGINAL G1000 list at # 587. Very rarely turns up these days, and to find a copy in the SUPERB condition that this is in is RARE indeed. Perfect teen garage action on offer here, this track has been comped often, and no wonder, it pretty much has it all. A really classicly constructed garage tune, the 1966 pop sensibility of the era is evidenced by the classy songwriting, excellent procduction, GREAT RECORDING QUALITY and never ending array of well thought out studio accents. Smooth, tuneful yet devastatingly disdainful lyrics , in a catchy rhythmic groove are framed by sharp hard drumming, pulsing melodic basslines and a guitar break that is pure MICHIGAN garage. A garage in OWOSSO, Michigan in fact. Possibly the greatest garage band ever to come from OWOSSO, the killer top side has been comped on Highs In The Mid Sixties, Michigan Mayhem, No No No, Night Is So Dark and others. The flip side is a neat folk punker, a nice contrast to the topside. This disc is in VG++ condition, one small , totally inaudible line or mark on the top side being the only visual flaw. it is entirely superficial, this record plays PERFECTLY. No pops, scratches, clicks, crackle, nothing at all to mar the sound quality. Audibly this is at LEAST MINT-. Simply FLAWLESS sound quality. You will not be disapointed, it plays GREAT. Disc has lots of shine left, it has not been abused in any way. Just the one minor, non sounding mark. And a few light scuffs from being taken in and out of the sleeve.
