Description

I always loved the old country blues from Memphis. Gus Cannon, Will Shade and Furry Lewis practiced that flowing guitar style that is haunting and beautiful. All these men survived the prewar era and were able to share their wonderful music with the world. Lewis recorded prolifically in the postwar era. This LP was recorded 7/21/68 at Ardent studios in Memphis. It is a UK release Blue Horizen # 7-63228 stereo copy. Odd slick cover has some light creases. Back cover has light ring wear and a small red smudge. Vinyl is M-.
