Up for auction is my rare copy of this beyond classic LP by Funkadelic- their masterpiece.
It's a tale of two sides on this one.
Side A i've never seen cleaner and have had a few of these. NM looks near flawless even under a bright lamp.
Side B has a cluster of light feelable marks on track 3 but really clean otherwise. VG only.
In terms of the playback, A1 being the intro just with quiet guitar has some surface noise audible. I've never encountered a copy which didn't have this. So that song plays back VG+ and the rest of the side plays NM, fantastic clear audio. Side B again NM except for the track with marks which is VG only with some light crackles (think light ticks not loud pops).
Overall it's a great copy though. Just not for a mint collector (you'd probably need to spend £500+ for one of those).
The sleeve is somewhere between VG and VG+ the beginnings of ringwear at the top (both front and back), a crease on the top right corner and spine wear bottom corner and a heavier spot of wear on the bottom seam. No splits. Again compared to most copies of this it's pretty strong!
