Description

This is a 26 records set produced for Funk & Wagnalls by RCA Custom.  12" 33 RPM.  FW-601 through FW-624 plus FW-401 (extra 1) and FW-402 (extra 2).  In addition, the accompanying 24 Chapter Book describes the lives and times of each composer with program notes for each record.  All records are near mint with no signs of scuffs/smudges.  The covers are excellent, also, with a few corners just slightly blunted.  Each sleeve is perfect.  The book has no wear and is in mint condition!

Composers featured:  Beethoven (early years), Tchaikovsky (early years), Chopin, Strauss, Ravel, Rachmoninoff, Tchaikovsky (later years), Bach, Handel, Wagner, Beethoven (later years), Brahms (early years), Mozart (early years), Rimsky-Korsakov, Beethoven (last years), Dvorak, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Haydn, Schubert, Brahms (later  years), Grieg, Mozart (later years), and Berlioz.

Extra record 1:  "Great Music of Our Time" featuring Leonard Berstein, Morton Gould, Aaron Copland, Scott Joplin, and Ferde Grofe.
