Description

Jazz Masters LP 1004 "Fresh Out" LP by Eddie Russ. Rare small label 70s funky flute and electric piano jazz LP on Jazz Masters label from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Features the dancefloor tunes Lope Song and Watergate Blues, as well as All But Blind, Shamading, Hill Where The Lord Hides (Chuck Mangione), and You Are The Sunshine Of My Life (Stevie Wonder). Has the much sought after Great Lakes area spiritual jazz / small studio vibe that so many listeners admire. Rare unplayed original 1974 deadstock copy from a collection recently purchased from elderly man who favored folk and blues and left his Tribe and Jazz Masters LPs he was given by the musicians themselves unplayed. Cover is still in excellent shape, although the shrink is coming opened, it is still sealed on the side that the record opens from. This is the first LP that the Soul Jazz / Universal Sound label reissued in 1991 to launch their re-pop empire! Shipping is $5 U.S. and Canada, and $14 worldwide.
