Description

Funk Factory LP Vinyl - Funk Factory.
First US Pressing - ATCO - SD 36-116.
Outer sleeve - (P - F - B?) - Outer sleeve has been destroyed. It is barely still together. Water damage. The whole left hand side is ripped, almost the whole of the top is ripped, two rips at top right and bottom right hand corners, slit at the bottom. Writing on the back. Please do not buy this item expecting a nice sleeve. Murdered.
Inner Sleeve - (G+ - VG) - Inner sleeve is the original Atco inner sleeve and is nice and clean but it has a large slit at the bottom.
Vinyl - (VG - VG+) - Visually graded under a bright light bulb. When I mention 'scratches' or 'hairlines' or 'scuffs' these are light and cannot be felt deeply by the finger unless otherwise stated.
Side 1 - (VG) - Vinyl looks ok but there are signs of several - many light looking surface scratches which should not affect the vinyl playing well with the right stylus / set of decks such as Technics 1210s with the chance of some light distortion in places. I feel that with the right set up should easily play VG or maybe higher.
Side 2 - (VG - VG+) - Vinyl looks cleaner than side 1 but there are still signs of several light looking surface scratches which should not affect the vinyl playing very well with the right stylus / set of decks such as Technics 1210s. I feel that with the right set up should easily play VG - VG+.

Record Collectors Grading system

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
