Description

This is the RARE original 1970 Made in Germany Philips issue of the first album by Frumpy, All Will be Changed. With the fabulous rare outer sleeve. When this outer sleeve is moved against the design inside the gatefold, a mildly disturbing visual effect is created.

I was excited to locate this recently in a  progressive rock collection and have left it as exactly as found.

I have playgraded this record and it plays exceptionally well. I would grade it Excellent.There are no visible scratches. No recurring tics or pops when played.There are superficial "sticky" marks on side 1, possibly caused by slight water contact between it and the plastic inner. This does not affect the sound. I have NOT had the record professionally cleaned so this would probably disappear if you did so.

Cover and sleeve are rated Very Good. Both record cover and sleeve are bright and complete with no tears or seam splits. The action of movement of the rare outer sleeve against the cover is a bit stiff but can be done.

There is a light crease on the card sleeve at the entrance and at the side of the top of the gatefold. There is a small scuff on the back of the inner card cover at the bottom. The outer plastic sleeve has the same weird very light superficial marks on the back, would also respond to a professional clean. There is also slight distortion of the clear plastic but nothing serious at all.

I really enjoy the sultry style of Inga Rumpf who is as good as Janice Joplin without the histrionics. But the standout on the album is also the divine keyboard work of Jean-Jacques Kravetz. How refreshing to have progressive rock without a howling guitar. This is the ultimate album for the collector of Krautrock!
