Freddie Roach on Blue Note 4113

 

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Freddie Roach “Down to Earth” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4113.  A small mark at the beginning of Side 2 produces five tics; otherwise, the playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The coated New York 23 cover is bright and clean throughout; light rubbing along the top seam; 1” split on the bottom seam, at the opening.
