“RVG” in wax. side 2 has an annoyingly persistent graininess in the groove: no damage, and little sign of play,
just a little whispery. Subsides, later in each side, and A side is better overall. I’ll call this VG++, conservatively.
Most of it plays much better than that, and the noise level is generally
quite acceptable against the music level. Jacket is amazingly beautiful: NM. Also includes original Blue Note catalog jacket. Here’s the eighth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
