Die silberne "Old Masters Box one" enthält das gesuchte Frühwerk von Frank Zappa und den Mothers of Invention: - Freak out (2LP) - Absolutely Free - We're only in it for the money - Lumpy Gravy - Cruisin' with Ruben & the Jets sowie eine - Mystery Disc mit bis dahin unveröffentlichten Aufnahmen, u.a. frühe Versionen von "Duke of prunes" und "Plastic people". Außerdem liegt ein 28-seitiges Booklet im LP-Format bei, mit allen Lyrics, vielen Fotos und Presseartikeln aus der Zeit ("Their hair and beards are filthy. They smell bad.
