Description
Frank Zappa "Zapped" LP Album from Reprise Records on the Bizarre label (Pro 368), 1969/70. The "Pro" records were samplers advertised for sail via mail order on bigger artists inner sleeves. Used as a loss leader from about 1969-1977 to promote newer artists. This is the Collage cover of "Zappe" featuring Zappa and sketches of the artists from his "Straight" label that were on the album. Artists included Alice Cooper, Judy Henske and Jerry Yester, Tim Buckley, Wild Man Fischer, Tim Dawe, Lord Buckley, Jeff Simmons, Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band, Mothers of Invention, GTO's, and of course Frank Zappa. Record is play tested and in VG condition. Cover in VG+ condition. Has normal edge/corner wear and some surface scuffing. Hard to find record. Records ship in sturdy record mailer.
