Frank Zappa "The Old Masters Box One" Released on Barking Pumpkin in 1985. Perfect Christmas gift for a fan of Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. Contains his first five records (which many feel are his best records) plus the "Mystery Disc" which was put together especially for this box set and contains previously unreleased material. Frank Zappa remixed all of the records to improve the sound for this box set. 12" x !2" extensive booklet included. Each album in the box comes packaged in it's own jacket with beautiful reproductions of original artwork and inserts.
All of the records are in great shape. Condition somewhere between Near Mint and VG++. The box set was limited edition and is long out of print.
The introduction to the booklet states: You must be a maniac if you bought this box...but it's people like you that make projects like this possible. Everybody at Barking Pumpkin thanks you for being as deranged as you are. We hope you get a nostalgic hernia...
