Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention 'Absolutely Free' LP RARE reissue on the Barking Pumpkin label, taken from the 1985 'Old Masters' box set. Record labels state 'Side 5' and 'Side 6' as per the sequencing of the records in the box set.
Record and sleeve are in excellent (near mint) condition - vinyl has some very light surface marks, bot nothing out of order for such an old record. The 'Old Masters' LPs were renowned for being top quality pressings, and this plays beautifully. The cover has some very light edge wear on the top and bottom of the spine, but again, nothing you wouldn't expect. Note that the gatefold spread has been modified for the reissue by having a red circle/bar printed over the typed instructing record owners to write in for a copy of the album's libretto and Freak map' - with the instructions added 'absolutely do not follow these instructions unless it is AD 1967'!
A rare chance to own a really nice replica of one of Frank Zappa's finest albums. I've treasured this for years and am only selling it because I managed to get a full 'Old Masters' box set, so this LP is now a duplicate.
