Frank Sinatra: That's Life
Original Reprise Issue in MONO
FS-1020
Factory Sealed -- NOT a cutout
RARE in this condition
This is a rare item. It's the original MONO issue of Sinatra's That's Life album on Reprise. You can find this album in mono, and occasionally you'll even find a sealed copy. But what's rare is to find a STOCK (not cutout, no rivet) copy of the mono album, sealed.
The That's Life album was issued as mono nearing the end of its life. As a result, the album sold a lot more copies in stereo than mono. A few sold in mono as well, but a couple of years later, whatever mono copies Reprise had left in the warehouse got sold off as cutouts. As was standard procedure for Warner/Reprise at that time, cutouts were designated by adding a grommet/rivet to the corner of the album. Many of the mono copies you see--and just about any sealed copies you might find--will have such a grommet/rivet.
This album doesn't have one. Someone bought this album at full price and simply never opened it.
It's a great looking copy. Nice crisp seams. There's a small tear in the plastic on the lower middle on the back (see photo) and a small bit of the seal where the record opens is open (see photo). But this is about the nicest example of a sealed stock copy of this album you'll find. TERMS and PAYMENT METHODS
