Description

For sale is a copy of the direct to disc audiophile album For Duke by Bill Berry and His Ellington Allstars. It was put out by M&K Realtime in 1978.
I grade on a NM, VG+, VG, VG-, G scale.
The record itself has some light, non-feelable scratches. I played the record on a Dual 1229 turntable using a Shure m97xe. The scratches did not really effect the sound. I heard only the very occasional faint pop, and I did not hear any pops over the music. I'd say it plays VG+. But given that this is an audiophile record sought after by audiophiles, I will grade it very, very conservatively as VG. But honestly, the album sounds great, though. The direct to disc aspect is clearly evident, even on my little PSB bookshelf speakers. The instruments on this record sound much more real than on any other album I own. It is very obvious.
The cover has a bit of shelf wear, and there is a small green "x" on the front cover. There are no seam splits. (See photos.) I grade it very conservatively as VG also.
I ship internationally ONLY through eBay's Global Shipping Program. International bidders should review the webpage for eBay's Global Shipping Program before bidding.
