Cover: nm- Ultra rare private pressing of modern choral works; this album appears even less often than volume I of this series. The standout is the extreme experimental composition "for speaking choir" by Rabe-O'Mansson. The performers are Karl Eric Andersson conducting the Bel Canto Choir. Liholm's work's source text is by poet Ezra Pound.
Folke Rabe is a Swedish educator, ethnologist, and composer of instrumental and electronic music encouraging "deep listening" influenced by the work of Pauline Oliveros, Terry Riley, and La Monte Young; he is also a jazz trombonist, worked at the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation, and was a student of Valdemar Soderholm, Bo Wallner, Karl-Birger Blomdahl, Ingvar Lidholm, Gyorgy Ligeti, and Witold Lutoslawski. Back studied under Hilding Rosenberg and was influenced by Anton Webern.
