THIS IS THE EXTREMELY RARE "AGI THANKS YOU" COMMEMORATIVE COPY PRESENTED TO EMPLOYEES / STAFF OF ALBUM GRAPHICS, INC. SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 280 COPIES. HAS A SILVER EMBOSSED FOIL STAMP STATING "No. 1. for 31 weeks - AGI thanks you" ON THE COVER. THIS COPY COMMEMORATES 31 WEEKS AT NUMBER 1 ON THE BILLBOARD ALBUM CHART. PRINTED AND GIVEN TO AGI EMPLOYEES / STAFF.

Unfortunately the accompanying letter from the AGI Vice President is not included. I don't remember it being included when I obtained this copy in the early 1980's. AGI is Album Graphics, Inc. with operations at the time in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. 

I was able to find an article from Billboard Magazine dated March 11, 1978 that reports on the special limited edition LP cover. I have included a screen grab of the article from the internet. 

I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER COPY OF THIS "AGI THANKS YOU" LP. IT SEEMS TO BE MUCH MORE RARE THAN THE "WARNER BROS. THANKS YOU" COPY. 

There is a name printed in permanent black marker in the upper right corner of the front cover. I have covered the name for the pictures. It has been gently covered with a sticky note and a strip of masking tape that is easily removed without causing any additional damage. I have taken a picture of just 2 letters to give you an idea of the size and darkness of the markering.

Fleetwood Mac - Rumours LP with the Textured Cover  on Warner Bros. Records (#BSK 3010). Comes with the original lyric insert / poster. There is nothing special about the Insert or Vinyl itself, it is the same as a standard / commercial release. It is the cover that makes this so rare. 

NO BARCODE. This LP features all the big hits. I recently played this LP and sounds great.

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition but has some surface marks that may cause some pops or clicks. The surface marks do not cause any skips, but you may hear some pops or clicks along the way and some surface noise during the quiet parts. 

MASTERED BY CAPITOL stamped into the dead wax. Nice fairly clean labels with some spindle marks. 

The Textured cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases or crumbles and ring wear, etc...  and there are somes spots of an unknown origin. 

The foldout lyric insert is in Very Good condition, but has definite wear at the spine from the being folded for so long and has asterisks drawn in with pen by certain songs.

I obtained this LP sometime in the early 1980's. It was gently played a few times back in the day. I haven't played this LP in over 35 years. It has been in storage ever since.
