Description
Rare and most likely undocumented error as I could not find any evidence of another one of these pressings being documented as existing (Popsike, 45cat, etc).
This is a styrene copy of Fleetwood Mac's "Back To Back Hits" reissue of "The Green Manalishi" backed with "Oh Well". Catalog number GRE 0108.
What should have been a normal brown Reprise label escaped out of the factory under the guise of a release from The Beach Boys "Brother Records" thanks to a pressing plant employee using the wrong label blanks. What we end up with is a 45 that gives us an alternate timeline where Fleetwood Mac were signed by The Beach Boys to Brother.
The record was found in a stash of unplayed 70s stock, and it is mint. Both sides have had a needle in the first ten seconds to check that it did indeed play the Mac songs, but are otherwise unplayed.
A nice little rarity where two classic groups come together where they never should have.
