Fire - Magic Shomaker Pye NSPL 18343
This is a story about Mark the Shoemaker, written by Dave Lambert and performed with Bob Voice on drums and Dick Dufall on bass recorded in 1970.
The story is written and narrated by Dave Lambert in front of a bunch of children, which can be heard between the tracks. The music itself is dominated by Lamberts excellent guitar playing and high shouting vocals and the band stays well behind giving Lambert a good ground where to lay out his lines. Dave Cousin is also helping out on the tracks, but not specifically mentioned what he's actually doing. Cousin was the front man of the Strawbs, and Lambert joined the group later on to lay the guitars on the best work Strawbs did.
The textured sleeve is in an awesome EXCELLENT condition, with only minor wear on the edges. The disc is in dynamite and sparkling NEAR MINT condition and plays perfectly.
