Felix Werder Requiem Australian Custom Pressing Rare
On this extremely rare record, Soprano Merlyn Quaife with the composer’s Instrumental Group, Australia Felix, performs “Requiem for Manfred Triesch” by Australian avant-garde composer, Felix Werder. Members include Werder on Bass and Electronics, Peter Clinch on Saxophone and Brian Brown on Flute. An Australian Custom stereo pressing, the record has some marks at the start of side one that do not appear to sound, and a few pressing pits. The centre hole is off-centre which causes some slight sideways movement, but overall is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with some low-level surface noise. The cover has scuffed a little on the back. A note sheet is included. View my other auctions for more rare classical records.
