Description
This is part of a big auction of King & Federal 45's I'm running this week. There are also a few rare blues & R&B extras. Take a look at my other items and keep an eye out for a Herald/Ember auction starting 8/7 and an all 50's Atlantic Records auction on 8/21.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Rudy Moore - Step it Up and Go / Let Me Come Home
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1956
Notes: Early single by the artist later known as Rudy Ray Moore of Dolemite fame. Pretty good R&B stuff here. Later 50's green labels with silver text.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in nice shape and plays very well, but does have fine inaudible "confetti" marks throughout. There are two small, but more noticeable scuffs. Plays great though, some very minor background noise in spots, but nothing real audible. Labels do have some liquid damage and slight tearing. Has a Dr. Jive sticker on Side A, not exactly sure what that means or if it indicates some type of association with influential DJ, Tommy Smalls.
A weaker VG+, but sounds good enough that I think it just jumps that bar.
Sleeve Condition: The sleeves on almost all the records I'm selling are pretty much in the same condition: there are wrinkles and some light bends as well as a small pencil number in the top right corner, but no tears or major damage.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
