Mercury records RARE MODERN SOUL
This album is very rare to find, this is because it is one of the greatest soul group albums of the early 80's. This group indeed produced some wonderful singles but this is their only album. The main thing about this album is the influence of the great producer Wayne Henderson, who brought in his typical soul tunes which have a hint of jazz fusion music to it. The lyrics are also the stuff to look out for in this very unique and creative album.
The album features the great group soul hits "Dance do it", "Shine on" and my personal favourite "You can get it".
The album was released by the rare soul label "Mercury Records" which is a very rare label that only release a limited number of first issue copies into the market.
The album is an ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS RELEASE of the label. This is definetly a collector's must have.
Side One: Shine on, Hollywood dreaming, Dance do it, Wild woman, Music use it
Side Two: Got to get away, Gone bad, My grandma, Music for your mind, You can get it.
The record and sleeve is in NEAR MINT condition. The Vinyl has no visible cratches and the sleeveis quite strong and has suffered a few wrinkled edges and scratches. The corners of the sleeve are the main wrinkled edges but apart from that the record looks in great shape.
