“Farewell to the Shadowlands” by Rising Hope (no label, private pressing) Cincinnati, Ohio local 1975 (?)

Gentle Christian folk, very lovely vocals and CS Lewis inspired fantasy lyrics. Band consists of Ross Johnson, Susan Goldberg & Michael Goldberg and all sing. Flute, bell trees, finger-picked acoustic guitar and a very deep, devotional vibe throughout. Song highlights: “Farewell to the Shadowlands,” “Secret of the Stars” and “Further Up (A Song About Narnia).” Comes with an insert with all lyrics & song credits.

Should appeal to fans of Sonlight, Stewart & Kyle, Dennis Ryder, Marj Snyder, The Last Days, Chuck & Mary Perrin, Malcolm & Alwyn, Linda Rich, Naomi Lewis, Kevin & Clare Sarkissian, Judy Mackenzie & other pastoral folk or other ethereal, smart Christian folk.

Condition: Cover = VG (moderate edge wear, no seam splits but seams are quite fragile, very slight ringwear and some minor age wear on back of sleeve)/Record = EX- (Good pressing, no surface noise save a tiny crackle or two here & there, play-graded both sides and it's very clean, some sleeve scuffs visible)

PACKAGING/SHIPPING/POSTAGE: As I'm VERY careful about keeping LPs in their described condition, I ship all LPs in custom LP mailers and use filler pads. I pack the disc with the inner-sleeve placed behind cover (both in a plastic slipcover) to prevent seam splitting in transit.

Postage for 1-2 LPs within USA: Media Mail = $3.00 or Priority Postage = $6.50, each additional LP add $1.00 (per LP).

Insurance is optional, but any uninsured package is the Buyer's responsibility (At Your Own Risk) and I cannot refund lost or damaged packages. Insurance rates are as Follows: 0-$50.00 = $1.30; $50.01 - $100.00 = $2.20; $100.01 - $200.00 = $3.20; $200.01 and Higher = $4.20.
