Description
Fabulous Dimensions – ‘I Can’t Take It, Baby’ / ‘I Can’t Take It, Baby’ (Instrumental) – Sapphire 1025 (US)
Fabulous Chicago offering here. All I know about the group is that they also recorded as The Tenth Dymentions, cutting the gorgeous ‘My Love For You Is Running Wild’ backed with the funky ‘The Bush Man’ (on Sapphire 1030 and later on Saluda 5104). The group possibly included the writer of these songs, Vern Ryan, who went on to form Von Ryan’s Express, releasing one album for MGM (which includes ‘The Bush Man’ but neither of the others mentioned so far). In any case, this is one fab tune, not to be missed!
Condition: VG++ (please listen to the clips). Ever so slightly worn labels (please see scans).
