Description

Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years.

On offer is one of the most desirable EMI album there is, so very rarely offered up for sale in this amazing condition. This realy rare item has come from a private collection belonging to a music journalist, who was often sent albums to be reviewed, along with other rare and pristine items I will also list soon including CHARISMA SCROLL label and RCA NEON.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

SO HERE WE GO.......

ARTIST --FUSION ORCHESTRA

TITLE   --SKELETON IN ARMOUR

LABEL --ORIGINAL UK EMI

YEAR   --1973

CATALOGUE NUMBER -- EMA 758 (STEREO)

MATRIX NUMBERS -- SIDE 1.  YAX  4663-2     SIDE 2.   YAX  4664-2

STAMPERS -- SIDE 1.  1R      SIDE 2.   1O  (earliest)

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD, TEXTURED and UN-LAMINATED. This un-laminated sleeve is in superb condition. It is constructed of a medium weight card so it's a bit flimsy but it has stood up well and really does look 'just out of the shop new'. On the front there is no un-wanted writing, no sticker tears, no surface rubbing and no stains, MINT. The back is also in MINT undamaged condition. There are no seam splits and the spine is fully readable. The inner gate fold is as new very smart indeed. There is minor creasing to the front top edge(very hard to see). The top and bottom edges have NO storage wear NO splits. There is minor corner tip wear. ALMOST MINT. SUPERB.

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. There is NO spindle wear and only 1 spindle line/mark on either side The labels really do look fresh out of the shop NEW. N/MINT, N/MINT

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see VERY LIGHT surface hair lines which were caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, but that is all, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is MINT. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are almost NO dust crackles even in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . Visually N/MINT and even better the audio is N/MINT, N/MINT. WONDERFUL! A real quality pressing.
