Rare Label FURRY LEWIS BLUES LP

We cannot guarantee that the name “Furry Lewis” on the back cover was hand signed by Furry Lewis, however we did purchase this album from one serious Blues collector who had some amazing rarities, plus the record was released in 1973 while Furry was still living.
Regardless this is one great record, showcasing Furry’s bottle-neck guitar technique. The LP was released on the tiny Southland Records label from Atlanta, Georgia, and is part of that label’s “American Blues Heritage Series” (Volume 3). COVER: VG (VERY GOOD): An average used record cover. May include some seam splitting, writing, surface and/or ring wear, creasing. Most buyers are satisfied with covers we have placed in this grade for their collections.
(This jacket also has a 2 ¾ inch surface scrape on the left front)
VINYL: VG + (VERY GOOD PLUS): A few visual imperfections or minor flaws. Possible light scuffing or light scratching but not deep. Light audible imperfection may be present. The surface is still clean and retains much of the original gloss and luster.
(This record does not look like it has had much play, but like many small label releases it has a few areas of manufacturing indentions in the wax on Side One. This does cause an audible sound when the needle passes through it, not major but noticeable. The sound clip above is recorded from the area of the record with the most areas of these indentions)
All LPs come packaged carefully in a sturdy corrugated box made specifically for mailing LPs plus a cardboard insert. The covers are placed in clear plastic record sleeves. The vinyl is removed from the cover (except for SEALED items) for shipping to prevent seam splitting during shipment.
