Techno Side 1 - Track 1. Aesthetics Of Desire Side 1 - Track 2. Like Me, Watch Me Side 2 - Track 1. Normal Is A Weapon Side 2 - Track 2. Obedience Spa Side 2 - Track 3. Terms And Conditions
Heed the title, but don't shoulder it; Funk Assualt's power is hardly soft. These are about as heavy as techno can get; a five-track tactical move against a diffusely warlike London that militates against its own citizenry. A new Sparta? Opening on the sterile warehouse blatter of 'Aesthetics Of Desire', we move into the tuned dub circuitry of 'Like Me, Watch Me', the abdominal suck of 'Normal Is Weapon' before the icy frigiforms of 'Terms And Conditions'; all probing the mechanics of conformity and desire. Social commentary meets productive abstraction as ever at the delight of this Italian-Swiss duo.
