APACHE/CHARLIES THEME (ESPIONAGE DISC UK/ESP001) CONDITION – MINT/UNPLAYED The Jimi Entley Sound were a long forgotten group from the late 60’s who were a familiar sight at all the popular British holiday camps. Jimi got together enough cash to record this wah wah driven version of The Shadows classic ‘Apache’ at Abbey Road but sadly in 1969 it failed to make much of an impression on the hit parade and The Jimi Entley Sound disappeared, never to be heard of again until Fat Paul discovered an Abbey Road test pressing at a local record fair. Jimi Entley was then tracked down and he allowed Espionage Disk to release this slice of dirty dance floor psych funk.
