Northern California's FUNERAL DINER has been a staple within what some have tagged the "screamo scene" for close to seven years. Forming from the ashes of PORTRAITS OF PAST and NEXUS SIX, the San Francisco five-piece churned out numerous EPs, split seven inches, compilation tracks along with their debut full length, 2002's "Difference of Potential" on Swiss label Ape Must Not Kill Ape. FUNERAL DINER has spanned the globe in support of their previous works, garnering a loyal fan base in North America, Europe and Japan. On the heels of re-issuing "The Wicked EP" on Alone Records, FUNERAL DINER is releasing their first LP in three years, and "The Underdark" is fresh with new material and a sound that expands on previous works. The Underdark is a record about the roller coaster ride of contradictions and personal conflicts that arise from living within a society in decline.
