Reine Flachot who was born in Santa Fe (Argentina) is a French citizen. She began her musical studies at the age of eleven in Paris and three and a half years later won a first prize at the Conservatory. Since then she has been giving numerous concerts and in the year 1954 she was unanimously chosen by the jury for the Piatigorsky Prize. Tours of the USA, Mexico and most countries in Europe. Reine Flachot is the embodiment of the type of the mordern virtuoso. Radiating objectivity and determination, she glows with inner musical joy and genuine feeling.
