Here's a very nice copy of a legendary album, not only because of the great music, but also because the cover lists four tracks that were pulled from the album before it was widely distributed.  The four tracks are "Solid Road, "Let Me Die In My Footsteps", "Gamblin' Willie", and "Talkin' John Birch Society Blues".

Early in 1963, Bob Dylan was scheduled to appear on Ed Sullivan.  When Ed told Bob that his "John Birch" song blasting narrow-minded conservatives was too defamatory, Bob refused to censor his performance and left. 

For the album, Bob conceded and allowed Columbia to yank the tune as well as three others that Bob felt were "too old fashioned".  Before that happened, a few extremely rare copies escaped with the soon-to-be deleted tracks on either the cover, the label, and/or the vinyl, mostly promos in the U.S. 

Those four deleted songs are listed on the cover of this record.  They are not on the label nor the vinyl. 

In addition to the front cover, the back cover, the label, and the vinyl all have misprints or scarce variations as well: 

For the vinyl, "A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall" appears as the third track on side one.  This is a rare variation that does not appear anywhere else except on promo U.S. copies.

The back has a further error because it omits "Honey Just Allow Me One More Chance" from the song listing, which is on the record.

This also has the rare variation of the label which has black letters and no arrows before or after the "360 Sound".

In 1963 most people still had mono players because the stereo players were expensive.  Stereo records were more expensive than mono records as well.  As a result, mono records were still vastly outselling stereo, making this stereo press difficult to find.

The vinyl is glossy and EX with light surface scuffs that don't affect play.  Columbia two eyes red label Stereo CS 8786., Canadian first pressing.  This album sold only about 5000 copies the first year so they are hard to come by.  Add to the fact that this one has a misprinted front cover, a misprinted back cover, scarce variations on the label and on the vinyl, is in stereo, AND it is in great shape, and you begin to realize how rare this pressing is!

"But this also revealed a songwriter who could turn out whimsy ("Don't Think Twice, It's Allright"), gorgeous love songs ("Girl From the North Country"), and cheerfully absurdist humor ("Bob Dylan's Blues", "Bob Dylan's Dream") with equal skill." 

"This is rich, imaginative music, capturing the sound and spirit of America as much as that of Louis Armstrong, Hank Williams, or Elvis Presley.  Dylan, in many ways, recorded music that equalled this, but he never topped it." -All Music Guide 

This album also began the '60s folk protest song craze and contains Bob Dylan's most famous song, "Blowin' In the Wind".

A reasonable reserve considering that the Canadian misprint lists at 300-400 in Goldmine.  There are only two U.S. copies of this album in the world with the deleted tracks on it and they are worth over $30,000 each!  Once again, the deleted tracks are only on the cover of this one.  There has never been found a Canadian copy with the deleted tracks on the vinyl.
