Description
Freedoms Children: "Battle Hymn Of The Broken-Hearted Horde" 1969, South Africa/Parlophone PCSJ12049. Disc is in stunning EX to M- shape, a few scant hairlines and scuffs from the rubbery clear poly inner sleeve, YOU WILL NEVER UPGRADE THIS! Gatefold cover is also TOP, some lamination peeling which is seen on every African-made cover of this vintage, you'll never find a better one. Incredible shape on this baby; if you collect records from this part of the world you know just what a miracle is on offer here. Ultra-rare first LP by these acid visionaries, this is an early prog concept LP with narration that would have sounded avant-garde had it been issued in England or America at the time, but these stoners were outcasts from the dark continent! Killer sleeve design, what looks like a skull on the back side reveals itself as something else entirely upon closer inspection... check out the scans. Take a deep breath and hold your gun steady, you'll never get a shot at a copy like this again!

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
