Description

This is a fantastic prog/psych LP from a British band called Freedom entitled 'Freedom'. It was originally released in the year 1970 on the UK Probe label and this is a first pressing as far as I know. The catalogue no. is SPBA 6252. The music is heavy progressive/psychedelic with a lot of guitar from this superb band.

OUTER SLEEVE - The gatefold sleeve which is laminated on the outside is in fine condition with minimal wear on the outer and inner portions and very minor wear along the edges and spine. There is some minor discolouration on the front and rear of the sleeve. The edges are in great condition and the spine shows minimal wear. The wording along the spine is 100% readable. There is a 20mm straight horizontal tear on the rear of the mouth of the sleeve but this could be invisibly repaired by the winner of the auction. I've graded the sleeve as Ex-.

INNER SLEEVE - This is a plain white diecut paper type.

RECORD - The record itself is very clean and there are very minor surface marks. There is very minor surface noise with only occasional pops and clicks on either side. There are no jumps or skips on any of the tracks. The labels are in lovely condition and there are hardly any spindle marks. There is no damage to the labels on either side. This record is in fine condition. It states on the labels - 'An Active Production - Recorded in London'. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are as follows - side one - SPBA 6252 A 1-G (stampers 1 G) - side two - SPBA 6252 B-1G (stampers 1 T). I have graded the record as Ex and I believe this is very fair. I try to grade everything as conservatively as possible. The winner of this auction will not be disappointed.
