Description
FREE Free, LP (9 tracks).
Original RARE UK gate-fold sleeve album, released in 1969 on the ISLAND (pink i logo) record label, catalogue number ILPS-9104.
The record sleeve is in NEAR EXCELLENT condition, clean solid and complete, with no rips, no major tears, no seem splits and no sleeve creases.
The record sleeve displays some slight/light edge wear in places, mainly on the top and bottom edges of the first half of the gate-fold sleeve (some tiny sleeve edge print scuffed and missing), with some small light print scuffs on the front sleeve bottom spine’s edge.
Corners display some slight/light wear and the record insert edge displays some slight/light wear. The back sleeve has some light ingrained surface dirt owing to age and handling. Middle of sleeve is EXCELLENT in appearance.
Record comes complete with the original inner paper record company sleeve, which is in EXCELLENT condition.
The record labels are in MINT condition, with full clear label print and no label damage. Spindle hole marks show only light to moderately played.
Record playing surfaces are VERY GOOD+ in appearance, and they still retain an original full “shoeshine” glossy sheen.
The A-side has four small/tiny visible surface scuff marks and a few small ultra light barely visible ultra light surface scuffs.
The B-side has five small/medium visible surface scuff marks and a few small ultra light barely visible ultra light surface scuffs.
Record play grades EXCELLENT record sound displays no loud crackles, no loud clicks, and does not jump.
The sound does display a few low level background crackle/clicks in places, however these are minimal and only appear infrequently and are not consistent throughout play.
