Hi..I have decided to sell some more of my record collection which I have accumulated over many years. I am not a trader or record shop and I am just recommencing selling on eBay. I am music fan who has collected vinyl records over many years and much to my 'other-half's' delight and, to my own disdain, over the coming days/weeks I will be offering rare, and much sought after vinyl records including Prog Rock, Blues, Folk, etc from collectible labels such as Pink Island, Blue Horizon, Deram/Decca, Atlantic plum, Vertigo swirl, etc etc..

The LP is in truly EXCELLENT+ condition, and is genuinely a reluctant sale.

Before I offer for sale I play grade to check my vinyl's and I have just played both sides on an upmarket deck. I always start with a low starting price to attract bidders as I see no point in asking for unrealistic prices for LP's to begin with - it defeats the object of bidding.

Firstly yes, this is the rarest pressing of FREE's esteemed second LP that hardly ever comes up for sale in such beautiful condition. It is the highly collectible original UK pressing on Pink Island White 'I' label.

The vinyl plays superb with no jumps or sticking, no breakfast frying sound - even between tracks the audio is outstanding! You'll be even very hard pressed to hear a pop or click! The quality of the heavyweight vinyl is amazing and some sellers would easily describe this vinyl as virtually mint. It has no groove-wear and retains a beautiful high gloss - it really is that incredible for an LP 42yrs old.  

This is by far the best sounding UK pressed audio of this sublime LP I have ever heard and I've heard many in my time. When you play the LP the whole way through you will understand what I am saying..I personally bought this LP brand new on its release back in '69 after hearing FREE's first LP, Tons of Sobs and I subsequently become hooked on the band. I kept it in my own personal collection for years - it so very rarely comes up for sale in such beautiful condition, and will definitely be a 'keeper' for you too.

When I read back my description I feel I am underselling this LP and you would be thinking I'm doing myself an injustice with my description, but I am honest and treat others the way I wish to be treated myself; therefore I am describing it to the best of my ability.

*Also, I have not attempted to clean the vinyl in case of damage to the single and because in my opinion it is in such great condition that it doesn't require any object or cleaning agent applied, in fact the only implement this single requires is a stylus*

Labels:

Excellent+ ...Both full Pink Island labels are clean and bright! (see images)... The faintest spindle-marks around the spindle-hole but these do not rip/tear the labels or downgrade appearance of the labels in any way. No ink and no unsightly smudges or blemishes in any way whatsoever.

Sleeve:

Excellent ...Matt gatefold sleeve is still sturdy and robust. It does have a slight ageing appearance but is hardly an issue, however for this reason I am describing the cover as Excellent, rather than excellent+ ..(it is still better than some of what you see hanging up, or in the rack of that record shop) - This to me simply adds to the authenticity of the LP as everything about it is original. No feathering on opening whatsoever. Inside of gatefold is also clean and bright and unblemished (see image)..I feel I must add that if you look closely you will see a very 'small nick' on the cloud at 1 o'clock above the girls hip, approximately the size of an average-sized star that are scattered over her silhouette on the front cover image, so therefore very small and minimal; this does not impair apperance to the cover . No writing, no tears, no unsightly blemishes.
