Description

The Free Design: There is a Song (Ambrotype 1016; the edge of the Cover: 1174) This Free Design was a wonderful group that has had influence upon many artists including Stereolab, Cornelius, Pizzicato Five, Beck, The High Llamas and the Grammy-Award winning Pentatonix, and this is a wonderful album in which The Free Design is largely Unplugged. There is a lot of acappela with well-placed and sensitive horn use that reminds me a bit of early Illinois-era Sufyan Stevens. 
This rare 12 Inch Vinyl LP is in NM- Condition; it shows no sign of wear or scratches, although there are a few of what looks like light paper scuffs that did not effect payback at all. The white label is clean with no needle marks, just a very little ring wear on label side 1 (see photo enlargement).The original inner sleeve is missing; I have provided a replacement paper sleeve. The LP Cover is in VG+ shape, with no splits or markings, no cut-out marks, and only mild wear to the top edge (see photo). There is a Goodwill Thrift Store price tag sticker still on the upper right corner, which I would rather let you remove, if you wish. (I hesitate to risk ripping the cover by doing it)! I carefully mail my LPs in Quality Cardboard Mailers, gently packed with good interior padding.
