Description

For auction is FREDDIE HUBBARD's "Breaking Point," on Blue Note BLP 4172, MONO, 1964.

SOUND: NM

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Absolutely brilliant, with no reservations!

VINYL: NM-

Visually, the vinyl is terrific. Very clean and glossy. Side A is near perfect. There are a few hairlines on Side B. Not feel-able, and don't affect playback. "VAN GELDER" stamps in dead wax as well as the "ear."

COVER: VG+ or better

The cover is great. The edges and spine are solid with minor, routine wear. The corners are pretty good, each with an average bit of fraying or softening. Lower left has a tiny bump. Both front and back are very clean and have only the most minimal wear or aging. There is a catalogue sticker on the front upper left.

Includes the original inner sleeve, which is a catalogue of "25 Years Blue Note" records.

The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.

Awesome record. No reserve, bidding starts at $30.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
