For sale is the Picture Sleeve only - no vinyl 45 RPM single is included in this auction.

I believe this is a rare picture sleeve - there is no mention of it on Discogs, Popsike or eBay.

Because the back of side of the sleeve is plain white, I am guessing that it might have been a "promo-only" sleeve.

The sleeve, as you can see by the photos, it slightly wider than the ordinary square picture sleeve. I've only seen a few like this in my time.

The sleeve is very nice overall condition, with some "rounding" on the left and right edge and a few tiny bends on the bottom right edge (see photo).

Frankie Love (given name: Frank Montanaro) was once the lead singer of the New York doo-wop group "The Gleams" from Wantagh, NY..

Both songs were arranged Teacho Wiltshire, known for his work with Ben E. King.

The B-side "First Star" was written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shulman.

Released on La Rosa Records, cat. #101.
