VERY RARE

1968 1st UK MONO ISSUE

ON THE VERVE

BLACK & SILVER LABEL

VLP 9237

In the 1st pressing non gatefold cover

Zappa fans/collectors know just how rare this LP is and usually, if you can find a copy, it has invariably been played to death. This one is a really nice copy for its age. It's now nearly 40 years old and you will struggle to find a better copy of this very rare LP.

Cover: 1st UK pressing Garrod & Lofthouse cover with the triple flip backs.  No writings, doodles or seam splits. The front is laminated and the rear unlaminated. The front cover is in excellent condition. Hardly any laminate creasing and minor rubbing along the edges/corners only. The rear is in excellent condition. The text is nice and clear and the cover remains nice and white.  The spine is also in excellent condition and has clear readable text.

Vinyl: Very Good. Very nice sheen. Would benefit from a clean as it has not been played for many years.

Labels: Excellent. A1 & B1 1st pressing matrix numbers.

Postage £3.50 (UK) £5 (EUROPE) & £7 (REST OF THE WORLD)

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
