FRANK ZAPPA – IN NEW YORK D/LP
WITH PUNKY’S WHIPS
This is the original withdrawn UK 1st pressing LP with Punky’s Whips. Very few copies of these exist and (in this format and condition) it is perhaps the rareist of all FZ’s officially released LPs.
It has Punky’s Whips listed on the rear cover. The track appears on Side 1 of the LP. The inner gatefold has the original photo of Terry Bozio & Punky Meadows. The original text and lyrics (which were all missing from later pressings) are all there.
This is the LP as FZ intended it to be released - before the lawyers advised it to be withdrawn and repackaged without the PW’s track and references.
The vinyl is Excellent. The cover is excellent with just some minor ringwear.
The labels have some numbers written on them by the previous owner - hence the low starting price.
