"Lumpy Gravy"
Catalogue No. VLP 9223 - UK Release
This is the original 1968 UK MONO release of "Lumpy Gravy" - stereo versions were SVLP 9223. I purchased this way back in 1968 when I had a mono only record player. The laminated sleeve and the record itself are both in very good condition for 37 year-old items.The record had not been played for over 20 years so I played it recently to assess the quality. It is very good - hardly any surface marks, a couple of very minor crackles/hisses on occasion but nothing that would spoil your enjoyment. The laminated cover is in excellent condition as I have kept it a plastic LP sleeve since new.
It is on the Verve label (black with silver writing) and clearly states on the inside and the spine of the sleeve, - Verve Mono VLP 9223.
This is a real collector's item as it is extremely rare to find a mono version of this LP.
