You are bidding on an original 4 LP set of Frank Zappa’s masterpiece LATHER on the EDISON label. This set was produced sometime in the 1980’s. There are those who claim that the fidelity of this pressing far surpasses that of the CD version released by Ryko in 1996. This copy was acquired for me in 1988 by a friend attending Yale University. It has only been played a few times. I would rate the condition of the records as near mint, while the box shows some shelf wear and has a small tear in the lower left corner.

BUYER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL UNINSURED PARCELS. Insurance is optional, and is coverage that is purchased from the US Postal Service to compensate the buyer should an item be lost or damaged. If insurance is declined, losses will not be compensated, by the USPS or by me.
I pre-enter shipping costs for individual listings, so you may pay the moment your auction ends. I also send invoices within 24 hours of auction end. If you win multiple items and there's no combined rate pre-entered, please wait for me to invoice you for the proper amount. It will always be less!

I charge actual shipping plus $1 handling ($2 for international packages).
Returns are accepted for incorrectly described items only. I carefully inspect every item I sell, and write thorough descriptions with detailed notes on condition, but I may occasionally make an honest mistake or overlook a condition problem. In such cases, I will refund in full, including all shipping costs. Occasionally, I may inadvertently omit a piece of information about an item, like dimensions or material. If this is not specified, please ask. This is not automatic grounds for a return. Items that are sold "as is" are not returnable, so please read descriptions carefully, and ask me any questions you may have before the auction ends.

The faster you pay, the faster I ship. I usually make my first trip to the post office within 24 hours of auctions' end, so if you pay before I go, your package will be shipped immediately! Conversely, if you wait a week to pay me, I'll assume you are not in a big hurry to get your package and reserve the right to ship it at my convenience rather than make a special trip.
