FRANK ZAPPA 1969 German VERVE LP, MOTHERMANIA, RARE VERVE label, testify of the student revolts of the year 1968. This is the original UK LP by FRANK ZAPPA, MOTHERMANIA, THE BEST OF THE MOTHERS (INVENTION) stereo, 1969 1st Press on VERVE label. Matrix number: SIDE 1: P196909V00710021 S1, SIDE 2: P 196909V00710021 S2. The original 1969 Germany´s 1st issue cover is in good condition, lovely and clean, front and back, the back showing minimal handling and ageing, the front maintains all it's original vibrant colour. Their is no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable. The vinyl is in not so good condition, the vinyl plays without hang but with much noices from scratches but the sound is good, whilst delivering a SUPERB warmth and depth. The label's are in EX+ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, the spindal hole show minimal wear. The vinyl isn´t hosued in a inner. Altogether a GREAT copy of this RARE original 1969 German LP by FRANK ZAPPA, MOTHERMANIA, THE BEST OF THE MOTHERS. Attention: And no the BEST!!!!!!!!!!: On the rear side of the cover is a photo of FRANK issued in the Newspaper of Berlin called "DER ABEND" and the story of the spectaculary concert of the 16th. of october in 1968 in the "Waldbühne" of Berlin. There is written that it was more a battle between Police, students which were crying " Ho-ho-Ho-chi-Mingh", "the Mothers of Invention" and Frank Zappa. Frank Zappa and the band gave as answer a march sounding like a column of "NAZIS" on their broken instruments. Zappa get angry to the raging crowd: We are here to make music and not to here your spongy sayings. AND: Your situation in Berlin has to be despair, while your are manners in that way. This and more is written on the rear side of the cover. It is a original testify of the student revolts in europe of the year 1968. A must for a nice collection.
