                                        LATIMER CAFE HAS THE SINATRAMA ROOM 
This is a pack of new unstruck matches saluting Frank Sinatra. They look really amazing especially considering they are over 60 years old. There might be a tiny mark or two, please check the photos.
 On the cover of the matches, they claim to have the "World's Largest Collection of Sinatra Records and Photos".   
The address is given as 247 S. 17th Street Philadelphia PA. It's now a restaurant called The Black Sheep Pub. So, needless to say these matches are super rare! 
On the back on the matches, it says "Sinatrama", with a cool drawing of Frank Sinatra.    
On the top cover it says, "Only Room of its Kind Endorsed by Mr. Sinatra".
There are even a couple of records out with Frank, Sammy, and Dino recorded live from this venue. How cool is that?
With all this, going on it would be hard to add anything right?  Well out of all my years of collecting and listening to Frank Sinatra stories, this one is one of my favorites. The young lady that told it to me, didn't say I couldn't repeat it, and I won't be giving out her name... So here it is...
I was selling a Latimer Cafe Ashtray; it had the same logo as the matches. And this lady wanted to buy it, of course I was like I bet you do, this ashtray is mega cool, and ultrarare, who doesn't want it?
So, she proceeded to tell her story. She was brought up by her mom, she never knew her dad. It was a day before New Year's Eve around 1959... Her mom, before she was her mom, was a college student. And was hired by the owner of Latimer's Cafe along with some other college kids to paint the inside. The room where Frank and the Rat Pack performs. 
Apparently, her future Mom and the owner not only got along, but they really liked each other. And one thing led to another, they spent the night together. Well two days later, the young college student had plans to move across the country to a live in a different state. 
Well, to her surprise after a couple months the young college student realizes she was pregnant. She didn't really know what to do, and since it had been so long since that romantic encounter in Philly. She decided to have the child on her own.  
Years past, and as any kid would do, she would ask her mom where, or who is my father? Before her mom passed away... She told her daughter of this cool cafe / the night club owner that had famous people like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. perform at his place she painted it with some of her college pals right before New Year's Eve. some 60 years ago... WOW RIGHT!
The ashtray, would be the only thing to remember her dad by. Her mom didn't even have pictures of them together. So, yes, I sold it to her and I think of her often actually and hope she is doing well!
