Description
Very nice copy of the rare original 1959 pressing of the classic White Goddess LP by Frank Hunter and his Orchestra, on Kapp KL-1136. One of the all-time greatest exotica masterpieces of the whole era… truly a special record, and so very rare now. This copy is quite nice, with a bit of light scuffing and some superficial marks, but it plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. Really a beautiful playing copy. A couple of stray ticks and just a tiny bit of very faint crackle between some tracks, but really it plays gorgeously. The cover has a seam split about halfway across the top, and a 2” split at the bottom. The other two corners are badly frayed but the spine is perfectly intact (except at the corners) and fully readable. A number of light scuffs and signs of use and age but still quite nice looking. See photos. Worn but not too bad. The disc sounds wonderful. It even has the original Kapp inner sleeve. This is a very nice original copy that will be hard to match.
