FRANK BALLARD with Philip Reynolds Band Rhythm Blues Party Original US LP Mono 1962 Philips International 1965 first press His only LP and highly sought after, seldom seen. Ballard was a local Tennessee singer that was popular in the southeast and sang with as number of bands including the Embers. This is his only LP and failed to make a mark nationally so it remains a highly collectible rarity
Cover: M- , beautiful copy, nice cover, perfect back, the only flaw is a slight ding in the lower left corner Record Labels: M- , a few spindle marks Disc: VG+ , several light marks, scuffs, but plays better, mostly VG++ The music recorded quite clear and loud so you can't really hear many of the marks except for the occasional pop or click. The only exception is on the quietest track "Drown In My Own Tears" in which the noise is a little more noticable Matrix: etched S-232 / S-233
