I'm going to be listing some 1940's Chicago radio show transcription discs from the series "Five After The Hour" by Les Weinrott. I'm sure these are very rare and may even be the sole surviving examples.
This one is "Fox Hole Conversation Piece." A young Ken Nordine is the announcer! There are three 12" 78rpm acetate discs with the show in 5 parts. WWII soldiers in the fox hole carry on a conversation about history, war, and what makes the US great; all with bombs and mortar explosions.
Comes in original paper outside sleeve with information (probably written by Les) and cardbard inserts. Considerable background noise in most parts.
